Global Youth Center Logo Design Contest
Since December, members within the GYC have been planning a logo design contest which would aim towards gathering designs from youth across Honolulu.
In a project co-ordinated by Bart Abbot, Davin Aoyagi, and Veronika Linton as well as supporters of the GYC, designs from Farrington to Mid Pacific Institute were collected via email.
We are glad to announce that the GYC Board has announced a winner to the competition. Below is the winning design by Mitch Cadiz of Farrington High School.

This design in particular captures the professional appearance that the Global Youth Center of Hawaii wishes to have in it's logo, while also maintaining a distinctive "Hawaiian" beauty that portrays the organization's location. The design masterfully synthesizes themes which the GYC strongly promotes and is altogether a unique and original design. This design will go through further professional refinement, at a later date the final design will be posted.
The other designs, which have also shown an incredible amount of dilligence and effort, can be seen here. The Global Youth Center intends to use these designs in the future as examples of quality artwork which youth can produce.
